PFEARFU’s intervention in Parliament on the Ministry of National Defense bill

PFEARFU recently made a significant intervention in the Hellenic Parliament regarding the Ministry of National Defence’s new bill on the regulation of health issues for the Armed Forces and related provisions.

A delegation, led by President Ilias Kolliris, presented the Federation’s positions and proposals on crucial matters concerning the health care of Armed Forces personnel. Their intervention included the submission of detailed documents addressing:
• Longstanding demands and institutional issues affecting NCOs
• The need for protocols and specialized training in military hospitals to identify and treat incidents of domestic violence, aiming to improve prevention and response through enhanced education of medical staff.

PFEARFU reaffirmed its commitment to responsibly and reliably representing Hellenic military personnel, highlighting issues that impact their daily lives and dignity.
