- PFEARFU in addressing the unfair treatment of enlisted military personnel
PFEARFU has succeeded in convincing the political leadership of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence to address the unfair treatment of enlisted military personnel, following years of union efforts and tough negotiations. The new system will guarantee a full pension after 35 years of service or upon reaching 60 years of age. Our Greek colleagues consider this development a major step towards fairness and recognition of the sacrifices made by military personnel and the strength of the unity of the trade union movement. Warm thanks were addressed to EUROMIL for its continued support to our Greek colleagues over the past years.
