Minister of Defence of Bulgaria Atanas Zapryanov met with the President of EUROMIL, Emmanuel Jacob

After proposition of EUROMIL’s member BUAFWA,  the Bulgarian Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov met with Emmanuel Jacob, President of EUROMIL, on 12 May.  The discussion focused on people in defence. In detail,  attention was paid to the growing need for investments not only in infrastructure, equipment and armaments, but also in human resources.  Recruiting and retaining personnel, ensuring competitive pay and working conditions and guaranteeing equality between men and women, were also discussed. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of investments in human resources in the context of the modern information environment and the fight against disinformation in a national, regional and global aspect.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Defense, Lt. Gen. Mikhail Popov, the President of BUAFWA Mariya Krashevska, and Board Member of BUAFWA, Nevena Miteva.
