EUROMIL, together with the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the Brussels chapter of Women in International Security (WIIS) is organising a transatlantic seminar entitled: “Mission Critical: Diversity & Inclusion Best Practices for the Security Sector”.

Mission Critical will focus on diversity and inclusion (D&I) best practices for militaries, police forces and defence companies. We will seek to raise awareness among stakeholders of the transatlantic security community and the Brussels based international organisations about the importance and benefits of diversity policies in the security sector. We will do so by bringing together different perspectives on diversity to enable an exchange of best practices and by seeking to strengthen the position of diversity and inclusion on the national security agenda of NATO partners and highlighting the corporate role in developing good practices regarding diversity and inclusion.
