While fundamental rights and freedoms are recognized for military personnel in international legislation, these rights are still restricted in a number of countries, which negatively affects the protection of military personnel, their moral and loyalty and progress towards democratic armed forces.
Together with a limited number of participants from the Ministry for Kosovo Security Forces, the Assembly of Kosovo, the Ombudsperson of the Republic of Kosovo and other relevant actors, EUROMIL would like to discuss standards, experiences and best practices regarding human rights in the armed forces and eventually provide information and guidance on how to ease restrictions to the rights of the personnel of the Kosovo Security Forces.
This event is by invitation only.
