The conference aims to highlight the importance of a “Multi-Dimensional National Approach” to the health activities of both the Defence/NHS sector and military/civil nurses in order to guarantee organisational synergies, share good care practices and rationalise the resources.
The effort made to achieve this goal should not be considered as a cost but as an investment for health: imagine it as a gym in which the professional, managerial and communication skills of the employed professionals are continuously trained, in order to transform the lessons into doctrinal, operational and capacity-building responses.
These acquired skills, through the resilience process, permit to face disasters, emergencies and large-scale crises on the national territory and to appropriately operate even in international contexts, as required by the Atlantic Alliance.
